Our Work

Action Village India (AVI) supports six organisations in India who respond to the most pressing needs including women’s empowerment, women and children’s health, girls education, disability rights, economic development and access to land.
  • AVI supports people living with disabilities in Bihar and Jharkhand through the work of Nav Bharat Jagriti Kendra (NBJK). 30,000 people were reached through a DFID-funded project and now AVI has Big Lottery Fund support to enable 45,000 people to access their basic rights, including enrolment in school.
